How National Cart Gives Back to Help Build Strong Communities

National Cart’s roots are in Missouri. We take our corporate responsibility seriously, and through each year we enjoy giving back to our local communities.

At National Cart, we are committed to building strong communities locally and nationally by supporting various organizations and charities throughout the year to make a difference in our community.

We appreciate the opportunity to support Sts. Joachim & Ann’s Care Service Food Pantry and be their 2021 Food Pantry Sponsor.  The Care Service Food Pantry is the largest in St. Charles, Lincoln & Warren Counties. Operating since 1981, The pantry distributes food each week to families and individuals with low incomes who do not have the means for purchasing adequate supplies. In addition to being a 2021 Sponsor, we donated refurbished grocery carts to the food pantry. They were using old shopping carts that were broken and having a difficult time transporting items. Volunteers and workers were delighted to receive the shopping carts.

Operations Food Search is one of the longest causes that we have been giving back to for many years. They distribute more than 35 million dollars’ worth of food and necessities to 330 community partners in 31 Missouri and Illinois counties and the city of St. Louis.

We participate in National Manufacturing Day to inspire the next generation of innovators. We host tours for local public schools. And our employees participate in community events to share knowledge about our organization, manufacturing careers, and the manufacturing’s value to the North American economy.

Throughout the years, we continue to support Wings of Hope. They provide medical relief and air transport program that serves patients throughout the Midwest.

We also support local school districts in St. Charles County and St. Louis County area, from school clubs to sporting events. Along with other programs such as Care to Learn, Missouri Kids, and other programs throughout the year.

We enjoy helping our community and those in need. We hope to continue to participate and add additional programs and initiatives in the years to come.
